Rental PoliciesSubmit an Application & Deposit
To submit an application, contact our office at (434) 971-8000 or leasing@neighborhoodprops.com. The application fee is $50 per adult. We will then process your application including a credit check, rental verification, and employment/income verification. *We are unable to hold apartments without a lease being signed.* Lease Signing Once approved, we will sign a lease with you for the property within 24 hours, and you can begin your move-in preparations! Call to Turn on Your Utilities At least two weeks prior to move-in, you will need to call Dominion VA Power (1-888-667-3000) to ensure that your electricity is on at the time of move-in. Depending upon your lease terms, you may also need to connect additional services for your property such as water/sewer, cable, internet, etc. Please refer to your lease contract for this information, or simply just give us a call and we will walk you through the process. Move-In Day Residents can pick up the keys at our office at 4:00pm on the first day of their lease and the first month's rent is due at that time. In order to pick up keys, the security deposit, restoration fee, first month's rent & utility fee, and pet fee (if applicable) must be paid in full.
